If I had to guess, I bet it will still work. Although, that is a bit aggravating to hear because we just got our MD3000i last year, and I PROMISE my company won't let me get a new SAN.

Using it just fine here.  Dual MDI300i's with a MD100 shelf on each.   Upgraded VCenter to 5 and then all 10 Dell 1955 Blade hosts and have had no issues at all.

FYI, the dell MD3000 is not an "I".  It is a direct attached scsi device.   I believe the question was regarding the MDI3000i and I can verify proper functionality.

Thanks,   it does seem to be a different FW than what we are running..... 07.35.31.60 is what ours say.    Maybe that rumour was true about that July update.
